This page and all of it's sub-sections are in response to 2 (two) motivators, a) my personal desire to gain as much as possible from the above courses for personal and professional development, and b) a few inquiries that I've received via Email about the courses as mentioned elsewhere in this site.

The notes are primarily designed as an aid in internalizing key points from the text, video and audio files as presented in the modules. Also they will act as a study guide for the final exam and the module based tests as they arise. In my own self interest, Cut & Paste will do little to re-enforce my comprehension, and will only give rise to potential legal action on the parts of the rightful authors, so the text will be my own imitable style of prose, that you either love, hate or are indifferent too.

Since I believe that HyperText is a medium that is quickly eclipsing traditional media, it is what I'll be committing the material too. The Graphics on the right are hyper links to the Mohawk College Course outline, Canadian Foundry Assc., Foundry Education Foundation & the American Foundry Society.

This series of pages also (hopefully) serves the purpose of helping others find out how to break into the closed loop of the foundry sector. Initially I wasn't able to find much of anything about Casting, Metallurgy and general Foundry practice on an educational level... 

With names that end in "Society, Assc., and Foundation" one gets the sense that their entering the inner circle of the Illuminati or the Knights Templer ...
